Overview​
Qatalum’s Aluminium is shaping the modern world. We produce more than 600,000 tons of high-quality primary Aluminium products annually which are used in a variety of industries including automotive, construction, engineering, and consumer goods. Our value-added extrusion ingots and foundry alloys meet the stringent quality standards of our global customer base.
Our Aluminium production facilities, located in Mesaieed, Qatar, approximately 40 km south of Doha, include a carbon plant, reduction plant, cast house, port and storage facilities, as well as a captive power plant. Qatalum diversified workforce, comprised of over 35 nationalities, contributes to the industrial diversification of the State of Qatar while creating a future of sustainable development.

Our History
The approvalfor the development of Qatalum was provided by QatarEnergy and Norsk Hydro ASA on July 19, 2007. The vision, experience, and expertise of QatarEnergy and Norsk Hydro permitted the development of Qatalum into a world class operation.
